Hawaiian Beer

Kona beer has become a staple at my home. I am not a fan of overly sweet or powerful tasting beers and these beers tend to be neither. They have variety packs, which I love, and most include IPAs.

Kona beer was founded a little over 20 years ago on the Big Island of Hawaii. I just learned this today thanks to Wikipedia: Rift Zone Indigenous Red Ale is brewed using yeast cultivated and found only on the volcano rifts from the Big Island. That’s pretty cool in my book.

But beyond the impressive Hawaiian background, it’s just great tasting beer.
